COVID-19 and its global impact
By now we’ve all heard what the Coronavirus is, and unfortunately no one was ready for it. The disease has taken over 25,000 lives globally and infected over 500,000. The disease has crippled the economy and affected businesses all over the world. Airlines, restaurants, entertainment venues, are amongst the hardest hit by the Coronavirus. The unfortunate situation has caused millions of people worldwide to lose their jobs and many companies are seeing major supply chain disruptions.
The world is definitely being affected majorly by this disease and waking up to the devastating news of more and more people being infected and dying each day is getting everyone worried and heightening anxiety and depression levels across the globe.
However, on a positive note, we will all get through this together as long as we follow the rules. Let’s practice good hygiene, lets face time and Skype our friends and do our part to stop the spread of this pandemic. Let’s try and support local small businesses as they are taking the biggest toll from this, and remember the more we spend the faster the economy will improve. Stay safe everyone.
